This is a short post I mostly made to mention that you’ll be able to get some Nicolium-themed stickers on events happening soon, and to announce the v0.3.1 patch release.
Nicolium stickers 🎉
I’ve made some Nicolium-themed stickers that you can pick up at events I’ll be attending, such as P.I.W.O. in Poznań, Poland on May 30th and GPN in Karlsruhe, Germany on June 4th-7th. If you’re attending any of those events, feel free to come say hi and grab a sticker! I’m keeping a list of the events I’m attending on my website, so you can check it out if you want to see where I’ll be.
Nicolium v0.3.1 patch release
Nicolium v0.3.1 is a small patch release I mostly made because I noticed the rules for stripping tracking parameters from YouTube URLs were out of date. Here’s the full changelog (I expected it to be bigger, but it turned out I spent most of the time migrating styles from Tailwind again):
Added
- Pages such as birthdays and announcements for narrow screens.
- Option to hide notifications from accounts marked as automated.
- You can add a link to your Favourites page to the navigation menu.
Changed
- Updated URL cleaning rules for YouTube links.
- Added feedback for saving drafts and a few more UI interactions.
- Further work on migrating styles from TailwindCSS.
- Subscription and follow settings are moved to the Following button displayed on profile page.
Fixed
- Hashtag visibility warning doesn’t display when using default post visibility, when it’s set to public.
- Iceshrimp.NET example Nginx config now doesn’t break custom emojis.
- Replies and other parameters of saved drafts are stored properly.
